All massage services at Spa Utopia include the BioMat. The BioMat uses far-infrared light, which is similar to sunlight without harmful radiation, and amethyst crystals to deliver heat deep into the body. The far-infrared light can penetrate 6 to 8 inches into the body.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle. Often used for chronic aches and pain such as a stiff neck, upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.
Various massage strokes that warm up and work the muscle tissue, releasing tension and breaking up muscle "knots". Fusion massage uses a variety of Swedish massage with some Lomi Lomi, Thai stretching, and passive positioning.
Hot Stone Massage
Rain Drop Technique
Raindrop technique combines massage and aromatherapy to create a synergistic effect on the body. The technique involves dropping therapeutic grade essential oils on the spine, neck, and feet from about six inches above to stimulate rain drops.

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. The inhaled aroma from these "essential" oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing.
At Spa Utopia, we utilize a special massage table specifically designed for pregnant women with areas cut out for breasts and the abdomen.
Designed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Sports massage is a type of Swedish massage that stimulates circulation of blood and lymph fluids. Some sports massage movements use trigger point therapy to break down adhesion's (knots in the muscles) and increase range of motion.
Cupping is the application of suction to the body. The suction causes soft tissue release, loosens & lifts connective tissue, breaks up and drains stagnation while increasing blood & lymph flow to skin & muscles in ways not possible using compression. The pulling action engages the parasympathetic nervous system which allows a deep relaxation through the entire body. It is not unusual to fall asleep during the treatment; you will be surprised at how relaxed you feel for hours and sometime days afterwards.
